I’m Richard Knox — a military veteran, competitive endurance athlete, and HYROX‑affiliated coach dedicated to helping everyday athletes unlock extraordinary performance. Fitness has been the through‑line of my life since I was 13, from the pool and the bike to ultra‑distance events that test every part of who you are.
Across Ironman‑distance triathlons, multi‑day ultras, and long‑haul challenges like Land’s End to John O’Groats, I’ve learned that success isn’t just about physical capacity — it’s about resilience, structure, and the belief that you can always take one more step.
As a coach, I bring that same mindset to the gym floor. My approach blends real‑world endurance experience with professional coaching qualifications, tactical planning from my military background, and a genuine understanding of the pressures of work, family, and life. I meet athletes where they are, build them up with purpose, and keep them moving with humour when the burpees hit hard.
